Committee Members

Ken Brown - Chairperson
I am a retired civil engineer in construction having project managed several major contracts all over Scotland and the North of England.
I have been a member of the MGCC Caledonian Centre for almost 40 years and participate in various motor sport events with different clubs and cars and currently I have an MG Midget and an MGB GT.
With a passion for driving and car repairs, I enjoy bringing together like minded owners to enjoy the camaraderie at car events. These can be a meet for a tea & scones or one day tours to the full blown Monte Carlo Historique Rallye which I have participated in. Cars can bring people together, but it is the people who can make a difference, life is for living and no matter what MG you have you are very welcome.

I am currently a civil servant in the Scottish Government. Having worked for the last 37 years I’m aiming to do 3 more years to do my 40 years’ service and hopefully retire. I only got in to MG cars in 2025 so am fairly new to this side of things and have been a member of the MG Car Club Caledonian Centre for a year driving an MGBGT or MGF. I have thrown myself into the runs, shows and really enjoying the MG way of life and have met a lot of people who have become friends.
